Adding transcriptions means your episodes reach more folks, and you decide which episodes get them.
Let us transcribe, or bring your own
You can have new episodes transcribed as they're published (the box is checked for you on the new-episode form, and you can clear it for any episode), choose which episodes to transcribe yourself, or provide transcription files you've made yourself (VTT, SRT, or SBV). Transcripts will be available as VTT or TXT files to you and your listeners.

We thought of everything
We'll detect different voices in your episodes and let you assign them names. We'll even remember those names between episodes.
Need to make changes? Any transcript—even ones you upload yourself—can be edited directly in your dashboard. Nothing to install, nothing to learn.
Most of our players support captions: your transcripts will show up inline, highlighting words as your listeners play the episode.
Limits that work for you
Every month (a 30-day rolling window), our Starter plan includes transcriptions at no additional cost:
- Five episodes up to 90 minutes each
- One episode up to two hours
Additionally, we provide you with five episodes up to three minutes in length every two weeks (a 14-day rolling window).
Need more? Our Growth add-on doubles the number of episodes you get of each length. Or, you can purchase credits: credits can be spent on one-off transcriptions, or to transcribe your back catalog.
Why do you choose for each episode?
We use a vendor who transcribes your episodes using AI. Your episodes aren't used for training, but whether you use these services is up to you. See our policy on AI use for our philosophy on AI tools.
